Join University of the Arts for “Crafting Compelling Characters for the Screen.” This event is part of UArts’ virtual open house series, running from October 25th – November 5th and highlights their Screenwriting Programs. See event description below.
Characters are the essential heartbeat of cinematic storytelling, and they steer us through the emotional journey of films and TV shows. But how and why do we bond with the characters we like to watch? During this workshop, you’ll work with Screenwriting Program Director Susan Skoog to explore and dissect what makes a character captivating and how to create dynamic characters that connect with audiences.
