Virtual Event

The 100% cost-free program offers one-on-one college and financial aid programming, exclusive scholarship access, and direct pipelines to on-campus supports for Philadelphia high school juniors and seniors experiencing foster/kinship care.

Participating colleges:
• Pennsylvania College of Technology
• Penn State, University Park
• West Chester University
• Harcum College/I-LEAD community sites

Information sessions for adult supporters of youth experiencing foster/kinship care including school counselors, social workers, case managers, foster parents, or other education leaders will be offered on:

• Friday, October 8 from 9-9:30 am
• Tuesday, October 12 from 12:30-1 pm
• Wednesday, October 13 from 3-3:30 pm

After the information session, there will be an opportunity to discuss options for in-person school visits this fall to assist system-involved youth with the process of applying to college and for the federal, state, and institutional financial aid to which they are entitled.

Please contact Madeline Birkner at with any questions.
