Description

YEAH works to create safe and authentic hangout spaces by providing culturally relevant engagement and implementing teen led interventions to address the root causes of violence. Utilizing teen action, YEAH works to interrupt the cycle of youth community violence in West and Southwest Philadelphia neighborhoods through peer led mediation and conflict resolution, community engagement, and economic opportunities. YEAH engages young people in the evenings when most violence occurs. Their program components focus on holistic prevention and interventions that push back against oppressive systems and address structural barriers that often lead to violence.

Eligibility

• Ages of 15 to 24
• A special focus on those labeled as having violent histories
• They are taking interests through their Contact Us Form for more details.
