DescriptionThe Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a free program that offers a full range of hybrid activities and interventions designed to promote college access, including counseling and workshops on goal setting, decision-making, career exploration, academic planning, college selection, scholarship searches, personal finance, digital literacy, and financial aid, to first generation, low income, Philadelphia students attending 6th – 12th grade.
EligibilityAny student in grades 6-12 who lives in Philadelphia can apply. Priority enrollment goes to students at the following schools:
• Parkway West
• The Workshop High School
• John Bartram High School
• Murrell Dobbins Technical High School
• Thomas Edison High School
• Jules E. Mastbaum Area Vocational Technical School
• Robert E. Lamberton School
• Middle Years Alternative School (MYA)
• John F. Hartranft School
Services are free. Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, or provide evidence of intent to become a permanent resident.
