Background: Headbang For Science is a scholarship for students who love Heavy Metal and want to work in healthcare or physical sciences. It was started in 2021 by Jose “Metal Ambassador” Mangin, a SiriusXM host and former pharmacy student. This is the first scholarship made for Metalheads who dream of making a difference in science and medicine. A special group of music and medical experts help run the program, including a Grammy winner and top rock festival promoter. If you love Metal and science, this is your chance to rock your future!
Eligibility:
🎓 High school seniors, 4-year undergrads, or grad students
🧪 Studying healthcare or physical sciences
🤘 Love Heavy Metal music
📊 GPA 3.0+ (higher GPAs preferred)
