Background: Girls in grades 9 -12 are invited to spend the day exploring engineering and computer science careers with volunteers from Widener’s School of Engineering and from the Philadelphia section of the Society of Women Engineers.
For Parents: Parents are invited to attend a separate program entitled “Sending Your Daughter to Engineering School.” Learn about academics, cooperative education, admissions and financial aid as well as what to expect if your daughter majors in engineering in college. The program will be conducted by personnel from Widener’s School of Engineering and Career Development, Admissions and Financial Aid offices.
