Write Away Applications Due 2/15: Free Virtual Writing Support for 6th-12th Graders

Through an entirely virtual program, Write Away pairs students in grades 6-12 with a college student mentor who meets with them for 18 virtual 1-hour sessions (2 meetings per week for 9 weeks). Mentors coach and guide their mentees through a series of writing tasks aimed to promote digital literacy, provide opportunities for self-expression, and foster a love for writing.

Write Away is currently recruiting 6th-12th grade students to enroll in their Digital Literacy Program. Students should be attending Title 1 schools or qualify for free or reduced lunch. Students can apply here by the February 15th deadline for the program that will begin in March. Please note that space is limited and applications are processed on a rolling basis.
