$1,000 Capital Auto Auction Scholarship for STEM Majors Due 8/15

Apply by August 15th for the 2021 Capital Auto Auction Annual College Scholarship.

Background:
As the world grows more complex and demanding, it becomes more apparent that education is critical to solving the problems of both our nation and the world. Capital Auto Auction wants to help provide more individuals with the opportunity to get a solid education and make a difference. What better way is there to move toward this goal than to help pave the way for tomorrow’s leaders?

Eligibility:
The scholarship is open to undergraduate students attending an accredited college or university who are majoring in a STEM field of study. Those majors include computer sciences, engineering, mathematics, natural sciences (including physical, biological, and agricultural sciences), and related fields. These related fields involve research, innovation, and/or the development of new technologies using the aforementioned fields of study.

To Apply:
Students are asked to submit a brief application which includes an essay (minimum 500 character, max 5000 characters) on the topic: Tell us about yourself and why we should pick you. Note when planning your essay that the 500-min to 5000-max is measured in characters as opposed to words.
