PHEAA presents: Financial Aid 101: Planning for the Cost of College
Students and families are invited to attend Financial Aid 101, an informative session designed to help participants better understand the cost of higher education and how to plan for it.
This presentation will begin with an overview of financial aid basics before transitioning into targeted guidance for students beginning in 9th grade and continuing through their higher education journey. Participants will learn about different types of financial aid, explore scholarship opportunities, and gain a clearer understanding of education costs.
The session will also provide practical resources and tools that students and families can take with them as they plan for college expenses.
Students and parents are encouraged to attend together to learn what to expect when it comes to paying for college and how early planning can make a significant difference.
