The Drexel University Liberty Scholars Program helps Philadelphia students with financial need attend college without paying tuition! This renewable scholarship covers 100% of undergraduate tuition and general university fees, giving students the chance to focus on their education and future goals.
Eligibility:
🎓 Must be a new first-year applicant to Drexel University.
📍 Must live in the city of Philadelphia with a Philadelphia home address.
💰 Must demonstrate financial need.
🏫 Must plan to attend Drexel full-time in an on-campus undergraduate degree program.
📚 Students pursuing any eligible major may apply.
Requirements:
💻 Submit a complete Drexel University admission application by the deadline for your admission plan.
📝 Complete the Liberty Scholars supplemental application through Discover Drexel under the Enrichment & Scholarship Applications tab.
✍️ Submit a 500-word essay with the supplemental application.
💵 Complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile for financial aid consideration.
📩 If selected as a finalist, participate in an interview with Drexel University.
Scholarship Amount:
💰 100% of undergraduate tuition and general university fees
Renewable, subject to continued eligibility and program requirements.
Deadline:
📅 January 15, 2027: Regular Decision admission application deadline
📅 February 1, 2027: Liberty Scholars supplemental application and financial aid materials deadline
Early Decision and Early Action applicants have earlier admission deadlines.
