$2,500 Building Trades Scholarship, Due: 10/15
Background: The AmericanTrucks Scholarship supports students preparing for careers in the skilled trades. Each year, scholarships help students pursuing hands-on careers such as carpentry, HVAC, electrical work, construction management, and other building trades. Students can use this opportunity to support their education while building skills that can help strengthen their communities.
Eligibility:
🛠️ Currently enrolled full-time in an eligible U.S. technical or vocational program
🏗️ May be enrolled in construction management, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or related trades
🎓 Certificate and apprenticeship students may apply
🏫 High school students who will attend an eligible program in the next academic year may apply
🇺🇸 Program must be at an accredited U.S. institution
📄 Must provide proof of enrollment
Requirements:
✍️ Write a 750–1,500 word essay about yourself and how your education will help support the skilled trades
📄 Submit your essay as a PDF or Microsoft Word document
🏫 Provide proof of current or upcoming enrollment
🔄 Previous winners may reapply with a new essay
📝 Submit no more than one essay per student per semester
