$1,000 College JumpStart Gratitude Scholarship, Due: 9/30
Background: The College JumpStart Pay It Forward Scholarship gives students a chance to earn $1,000 by sharing a meaningful story. You can write about a time when someone showed you kindness and inspired you to help someone else. You can also choose your own topic if that story does not fit your experience. This scholarship is a chance to reflect on an experience that mattered to you and share what you learned from it.
Eligibility:
🎓 Current high school student in grades 10–12 or current college student
📚 Or planning to enter college within the next 12 months
🇺🇸 Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
💰 Financial need is not considered
📊 Grades and test scores are not considered
🏫 If your school isn’t listed, select “School Not Listed”
Requirements:
📝 Complete the online application
✍️ Submit a personal statement of 250 words or less
💙 Write about a time you paid it forward OR choose a topic of your choice
💡 Focus on the experience, ideas, and lessons you want to share
