Background: The Hazel & Olive Sweet Horizon Scholarship was created to support young women who have faced the challenges of domestic violence while continuing to work toward a brighter future. This scholarship believes every young woman deserves the chance to grow, succeed, and build a life filled with hope and opportunity. By helping students pursue higher education, this opportunity encourages resilience, confidence, and independence.
Eligibility:
👩 Must identify as female
🎓 Must be a graduating high school senior
🇺🇸 Must live in the United States
💙 Must have been personally impacted by domestic violence
🏫 Must plan to attend a two- or four-year college
Requirements:
✍️ Write about a challenge you have faced
🌟 Explain how the experience shaped who you are today
🎯 Share how higher education will help you build your future
