$1,000 Scholarship for Students Impacted by ALS, Due: 6/30
Background: The Mary Jane Sanders ALS Scholarship honors the life of Mary Jane Sanders, a loving mother and grandmother who faced ALS with strength, grace, and resilience. She believed in the importance of family, perseverance, and following your dreams even during difficult times. This scholarship supports students whose lives have been impacted by a parent’s ALS diagnosis or loss while they continue working toward their education goals.
Eligibility:
🎓 Open to high school seniors and undergraduate students
📚 Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
💙 Must have a parent diagnosed with or who passed away from ALS
🌟 Must show dedication to education and future goals
Requirements:
✍️ Write about how your family’s experience with ALS inspired you to pursue your dreams
📸 Upload a photo with your parent who faced ALS
📄 Optional: Upload extra photos or documents related to your parent’s diagnosis or loss
