Background: The Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship supports students whose families have been impacted by workplace injuries. This scholarship helps students continue their education while honoring the strength and sacrifices of injured workers and their families. The program encourages students to pursue their academic and career goals despite financial challenges caused by work-related accidents.
Eligibility:
👷 Parent must have been affected by a work-related injury
🎓 Must be enrolled in or planning to attend an accredited U.S. college or university
🇺🇸 Must be a U.S. citizen
🔞 Must be at least 18 years old
📚 Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required
Requirements:
✍️ Submit a 500–1,000 word essay
📄 Provide documentation of parent’s work injury
📚 Submit current academic transcript
