$4,000 Spinal Cord Injury Scholarship, Due: 6/12
Background: This scholarship supports students living with spinal cord injuries, spinal cord-related disabilities, or students whose parent has been affected by these conditions. The program helps students continue their education and work toward their future goals. It recognizes determination, resilience, and the hard work students put into overcoming challenges while pursuing college or postsecondary education. Scholarships are awarded to help reduce financial stress and encourage students to keep moving forward toward success.
Eligibility:
♿ Open to students with spinal cord injuries or spinal cord-related disabilities
👨👩👧 Children of affected individuals may also apply
🧠 Priority given to paralysis-related conditions such as spina bifida, spinal tumors, strokes, or aneurysms
📚 Minimum 2.5 GPA required
🎓 Must be in final semester of high school or currently enrolled in college
🏫 Must attend a college, associate, or postgraduate program
💵 Tuition costs must exceed scholarship amount
Requirements:
✍️ Submit a 200-word essay explaining why you deserve the scholarship
🎯 List five-year and ten-year goals
💼 Provide work experience history
