Background: The Ocean Awareness Contest encourages students to explore their connection to the ocean and how it impacts our lives. Whether you live near the coast or far away, the ocean helps support the planet through food, climate, creativity, and inspiration. Students are invited to share their stories and ideas through art, writing, film, music, performance, or multimedia projects. This contest helps young people use creativity to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and environment.
Eligibility:
🌎 Open to students ages 11–18 worldwide
👧 Junior Division: Ages 11–14
🧑 Senior Division: Ages 15–18
👥 May apply individually or in groups/classes/clubs
📝 Must provide an adult sponsor contact
🚫 College students are not eligible
