Background: The Colleen Scarisbrick Help America Hear Scholarship helps high school seniors with hearing loss reach their goals. The scholarship provides financial support and advanced hearing technology so students can succeed in college or vocational school.
Eligibility:
🎓 High school seniors in the United States
🦻 Must have hearing loss requiring hearing aids or cochlear implants
🇺🇸 Open nationally to eligible students
Requirements:
📝 500–1500 word essay (PDF, single-spaced, 12-pt Arial, 1″ margins)
📄 Completed scholarship application
✉️ Two letters of reference (school + community reference)
📸 Photo of the applicant
🦻 Most recent hearing evaluation/audiogram
🎓 College or vocational school acceptance letter (if available)
🖊 Signed photo release form
🏥 Signed HIPAA form
Scholarship Amount:
💰 (10) Financial award + a pair of top-of-the-line ReSound prescription hearing aids
