$3,000 Animal Welfare Scholarship, Due: 3/15
Background: The Animal Welfare Institute (AWI) works to protect animals in labs, farms, homes, businesses, and the wild. For over 70 years, AWI has helped improve how animals are treated across the United States. This scholarship supports high school seniors who care deeply about animals and want to build careers that reduce animal suffering. AWI believes young leaders can create a kinder future for vulnerable species, and this scholarship helps students take the next step toward that goal through college education.
Eligibility:
🐶 U.S. high school senior
🐱 Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare (volunteering or advocacy)
🦊 Plans to pursue a career protecting animals or reducing animal suffering
Requirements:
📝 Complete the online application
📨 Letter of recommendation (non-family member involved in animal welfare work)
🎓 Proof of college acceptance (required if selected as a finalist)
