Background: The Cochran Firm, DC wants to help students reach their education goals. They believe everyone should have a fair chance to go to college. To honor their founding partner, Johnnie L. Cochran, Jr., they offer a $1,000 scholarship twice each year. This scholarship supports students who want to learn, grow, and make a positive difference in their communities.
Eligibility:
🎓 High school seniors already enrolled in a U.S. college
🏫 Students currently attending any post-high-school education program in the U.S.
🧾 Must provide proof of enrollment to qualify
Requirements:
✍️ Submit a 750–1000 word original essay
📣 Share the essay contest page on Facebook and Twitter
📧 Email essay as a Word or PDF attachment
📝 Include name, address, and email in both essay + email
📚 Provide current unofficial transcript or proof of enrollment
