$5k Scholarship for HBCU Students, Due: 9/4

Background: The James J. and Margaret M. Kerrigan Scholarship helps college juniors and seniors at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) pay for school. It supports U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and students with DACA status. The program prefers students studying K-12 Education or Fine/Performing Arts during the 2025–26 school year.


Eligibility:
🎓 Full-time junior or senior at a U.S.-based HBCU
🪪 U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or DACA status
📊 Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
📝 Completed FAFSA
💸 Proven unmet financial need verified by your school
