$1,000 Creative Arts Scholarship, Due: 8/25
Background: Creative tools and platforms have never been more accessible—but public criticism can make it hard for aspiring artists to thrive. Still, the impact of the arts is undeniable: students exposed to visual and performing arts tend to do better in school and life. Despite this, arts programs often lack funding. This scholarship honors Kim Beneschott, a passionate watercolor artist and educator, who used creativity to rise through hardship and make a difference in her school and community.
