Free Access to Amherst College for HS Seniors, Due: 8/11
Background: Access to Amherst (A2A) is a free, three-day fly-in program that gives rising high school seniors a firsthand look at Amherst College. The event runs from Saturday, September 27 to Monday, September 29, 2025.
Eligibility:
A2A centers the voices of students from marginalized communities, such as:
– African-American, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, and Asian-American students
– First-generation college-bound students
– Students from low-income families or Title I schools
– Rural and urban students
– Undocumented students or non-U.S. citizens living in the U.S.
Even if you don’t identify with any of the above, you’re still welcome to apply!
Requirements:
📑 A2A Writing Supplement + Short Answer Question
🎓 Your transcript through junior year (unofficial is OK)
📚 Your senior year courses (confirmed or planned)
