Background: Wanda G. Lear was a kind and caring nurse, teacher, mom, grandmother, and friend. She worked hard to become a nurse while raising her kids and working full-time. After earning her nursing degrees, Wanda became a professor and shared her love for teaching with many students. She helped many people with her kindness and knowledge. This scholarship honors Wanda’s amazing life by helping students who also dream of becoming nurses.
