Up to $14k Crest Scholarship for Students Pursuing Physical Therapy, Due: 5/31
Background: Rizing Tide is giving money to students who want to become physical therapists. It’s called the Crest Scholarship, and it’s for people who are just starting their DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy) program or moving from PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) to DPT. This scholarship is for students from racial and ethnic groups that are often left out.
Eligibility:
🎓 First or second year DPT student (2nd year starts after May 1) or PTA-to-DPT bridge student
🏫 Accepted into a CAPTE-accredited PT program in the U.S.
🌍 Underrepresented racial/ethnic background
📈 Minimum 3.2 GPA
🇺🇸 U.S. Citizen or DACA status
Requirements:
📝 Three 500-word essays
📚 One official transcript
📬 One DPT program acceptance letter
👥 Two letters of recommendation
