Background: Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania (KCPA) helps kids whose parent or guardian was hurt or killed at work. They give money (called a scholarship) to help students go to college or trade school. If your family has less money because of the work accident, this program can help. You can use the scholarship at any school after high school—college, university, or trade school. The goal is to help you reach your dreams, even if life got really hard. KCPA wants to give kids a better chance at a bright future.
Eligibility:
🎓 Parent/guardian must be seriously injured or killed in a PA work accident
🧾 Must meet financial need
🏫 Enrolled or planning to enroll in college/trade school
🎓 High school diploma or GED by scholarship disbursement
👶 Under age 25 when awarded
🎓 No prior bachelor’s degree
🚫 Not for graduate programs
📆 Eligible up to 10 semesters
