Background: The Lois Parker Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Lois Parker, a U.S. Army veteran and dedicated nurse. This scholarship is designed to support underprivileged citizens, military veterans, and rural government employees who are pursuing education or certifications in IT, medical, first responder, or emergency management fields. Scholarships are awarded year-round, helping individuals gain the skills they need for vital roles in their communities.


Eligibility:
🎓 U.S. military veterans, underprivileged citizens, or rural government employees
📚 Enrolled in accredited IT, medical, first responder, or emergency management programs
🏢 Can apply individually or through the employer for rural government employees

Requirements:

📝 Write a 300-word essay on IT, medical, or emergency management topics
📄 Provide an enrollment verification letter
