William A. Lewis Scholarship: $2,000 for BIPOC STEM Students Due – 11/30

Background: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) jobs are very important in our world today. However, there aren’t many Black and Hispanic workers in these fields. Only 8% of the STEM workforce is Hispanic and just 9% is Black, even though these groups make up a larger part of the workforce. This scholarship is named after William A. Lewis and is designed to help BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) students who want to study math or other STEM subjects at HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities).


Eligibility:
🎓 BIPOC undergraduate or graduate students
🏫 Must be pursuing a degree in STEM
📍 Must be enrolled at an HBCU

Requirements:
