Marine Band Concerto Competition for High School Musicians – Win Up to $2,500!, Due: 11/15
Background: High school musicians, this is your chance! “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation are holding a Concerto Competition for the 2024-2025 school year. The first-place winner will perform as a guest soloist with the Marine Band in 2025 and win $2,500. Second and third place will receive $1,000 and $500 scholarships.
Eligibility:
🎓 High school students (grades 9-12)
🎶 Woodwind, brass, and percussion players (no strings, piano, or harp)
Requirements:
🎥 Submit a YouTube video of your performance from the approved repertoire list
📄 Complete and submit the online application form
Scholarship Amount:
💰 First place: $2,500
💰Second place: $1,000
💰Third place: $500
