Background: The More Than A Teacher Scholarship celebrates the powerful impact teachers have on their students. This scholarship will award $1,000 to two students—one from Georgia and one from across the U.S.—who share an inspiring story about how a teacher or professor positively influenced their life or education. Teachers do more than teach; they inspire, guide, and shape the future.
Eligibility:
🎓 Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
🧑🎓 High school seniors accepted to college
💼 In good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher)
Requirements:
📄 Submit a resume (academic, professional, and volunteer experiences)
📜 Upload a transcript (official or unofficial)
✏️ Write a 750-1,000 word essay about your favorite teacher’s impact
