$2,000 NSHSS Music Scholarship Due 10/13

Background: NSHSS is awarding three $2,000 scholarships to help students pursue their goals in performing arts with a focus on music.

Eligibility: This scholarship is open to rising high school students graduating in 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027, and recently graduated 2023 seniors.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the October 13th deadline.

Application Requirements: There are a few application requirements including a recommendation from an educator, a colored headshot suitable for the web, a 5-minute performance video, an academic resume, and a current transcript.

Guidelines for Video Submission:
📹A short description of your piece (no more than 150 words)
📹A performance video of no more than 5 minutes
📹A brief response answering the following question: What has inspired you to become a musical artist? How do you currently express this talent and how do you envision doing so in the future? (no more than 500 words)
