School District of Philadelphia’s FREE Virtual Tutoring for K-12 grade Students

September 25, 2023

As we kick off the new school year, don’t forget that The School District of Philadelphia offers a free Centralized Tutoring Program for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The service provides a supplemental learning model individualized to each child’s needs. The virtual tutoring sessions will help students better understand and retain what they learn in class, and ultimately assist them in advancing their education.

The program will support students in:

☑️Independent learning & developing positive study habits
☑️Mastering coursework & building on foundational skills
☑️Thinking and processing at a high level
☑️Growing in confidence leading to improved self-esteem
☑️Improving overall academic performance, retention, and personal growth

How the program works:
☑️Virtual after-school tutoring is organized into four 6-week cycles, two days a week: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday
☑️You must sign up for each cycle separately, by its unique deadline.
☑️Registration windows vary based on which school your student attends.

Seats are limited for this program and students will receive placement on a first come first serve basis depending on the program location.
