Heisman Scholarship for Community-Minded High School Athletes Due 10/17

Background: The Heisman High School Scholarship program extends the Heisman prestige to the nation’s most esteemed high school seniors by celebrating and rewarding outstanding male and female scholar-athletes who understand that the most important victories happen not only on the field, but also in their schools and communities. The scholarship recognizes high school athletes who are community-minded and driven to use their exceptional talents for the benefit of all.

Eligibility:
• 2023 graduating high school senior
• weighted 3.0+ GPA during 9th, 10th, and 11th grades
• participates or has participated in 9th, 10th, or 11th grades in at least one of the sports listed here
• has participated in volunteer service, community involvement, or leadership within your school or community

Student Application: Students can apply here. Applications are due by 6pm EST on October 17th, but it’s recommended that you complete your application as early as possible to give your selected reviewer adequate time to submit their review by 6pm EST on October 19th.

Reviewer: Students must select a school official who will login to review the application and its contents, and confirm its accuracy. The reviewer must be a teacher, counselor, or administrator at the student’s school and cannot be related to the student. Your application cannot be accepted until your selected school official submits their review. Instructions for the reviewer can be found here.
