Become a KYW Newstudies Student: Applications Due 10/6
Background: Students are invited to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about the inner workings of KYW News Radio. The annual program will expose students to a crash course on news studies with real-life experience learning and working one-on-one with KYW Newsradio managers, editors, and reporters. Presented by Audacy, the 5-week program begins October 14th with an application deadline of October 6th. Participating students will receive special awards for their accomplishments, including a cash scholarship.

Program requirements for graduation: Students must research, write, and record a news report about something in their school or community. The student’s report will air on KYW Newsradio and a digital version of the report will be posted online.
