What is the College Prep Leadership Program?
The College Prep Leadership Program by Seeds of Fortune is an immersive hybrid learning experience to create a competitive college application process and beyond. The comprehensive 6-month College Prep Leadership Program is designed to equip participants with the essential tools and knowledge to make their college journey a success.
Over 6 months, students will engage in the following:
✔️interactive sessions that focus on various key college prep learning modules
✔️hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance
✔️learning how to earn college grants and scholarships
✔️university Panels
✔️opportunities for micro-internships
Eligibility:
☑️Student must identify as a female student of Color (African American, Hispanic/Latino & Indigenous Groups)
☑️Current Senior – Class of 2024
☑️Students with a household income less than $125K receive a scholarship to cover the cost of program fees
Fall Program Dates: The fall program will run from October 1st through November 19th. Sessions will be held virtually from 4-6:45pm with one mandatory visit to Columbia University located in New York City. The fees for out-of-state housing are $250 and students are responsible for travel costs to and from the city.
