Upenn’s Talent Search Program for 6th-12th Grade Philadelphia Students, Due 8/31
Background: The University of Pennsylvania is looking to support 6th to 12th-grade Philadelphian students in their Pursuit of Post-Secondary Education. Talent Search is a federally funded program designed to help first-generation students from modest-income families successfully complete high school and enroll in postsecondary school. Available to 600 students in the Philadelphia region.
Program Components:
▶️ Students also gain exposure to college culture by visiting local colleges and universities, as well as collaborating with University of Pennsylvania students and staff.
▶️ A full range of hybrid activities and interventions designed to promote college access
▶️ 21st-century college, digital literacy, and career readiness skills
Eligibility:
☑️ 6th – 12th graders who are residents of the city of Philadelphia. Potential first-generation college students (neither parent has a four-year degree) are especially encouraged to apply!
