$1,000 Barbara Cain Literary Scholarship Due 9/21

Background: Barbara Cain was a mother who dedicated her life to education and her career as a librarian. The Barbara Cain Literary Scholarship was established in honor of her life and dedication to literacy. This scholarship aims to support students with a love of reading and encourage them to maintain their passion for books.

Eligibility: Any high school senior or undergraduate student who loves books. Students who are looking to become librarians or volunteer in libraries are preferred.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the September 21st deadline. To apply, students are asked to write an essay what they’ve learned from the books they’ve read and how they’ve shaped their goals.
