Oracle Corporate Scholars Program, $10k in Scholarships for College Sophomores or Juniors

Background: Oracle seeks to identify 10 candidates for a merit-based scholars program specifically targeting students majoring in finance, business, accounting, marketing, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, development, Information Technology, Information Management Systems, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or any closely related discipline from traditionally underrepresented communities.

Program Components:

▶️ Summer 2024 Internship – Candidates selected for the 2024 Summer Internship will be working at one of these locations: Oracle Headquarters in Austin, TX, Redwood City, CA, or Seattle, WA.

▶️ Scholarship Assistance – Upon the successful completion of the internship, students will be considered for a $10,000 scholarship to be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Eligibility: 

☑️Possess a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

☑️Be a U.S. Citizen.

☑️Be from an underrepresented background, including African American, Indigenous people, and Latinx.

☑️Be a sophomore or junior during the application process. (Seniors will be considered if returning to their university in fall 2024).

☑️Be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year UNCF Member Institution or any other HBCU, or Hispanic serving institution.

☑️Underrepresented Black, Indigenous, people of color students from other universities will also be considered.

☑️Be majoring in Business, Marketing, Legal Studies, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Data Science, and related majors.
