$1,000 HPFY Beyond Disability and Make a Difference Scholarships Due 8/15

The Health Products For You scholarship program aims to encourage and support undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities. This program also seeks to recognize the service of those who have used their good fortune and good health to give back to the community, either by caring for those less fortunate or doing their part to make this world a better place for everyone.

1. HPFY Beyond Disability Scholarship

Background: The Health Products for You Beyond Disability Scholarship aims to encourage and support undergraduate and graduate students who have not let their disability impede their life and ambitions. The scholarship program also recognizes and rewards selfless individuals who care for those in need, give back to their communities, and do their part in making the world a better place for all!

Eligibility:
•Be a current high school senior or a college student living with a documented disability. If the applicant is a high school student, then he or she should have a letter of acceptance from an accredited college, university, technical school, or vocational school for the fall of the academic year following high-school graduation.
• Enrollment status in school or college must be full-time.

How To Apply: Students can apply here by the August 15th deadline. Required materials include your transcript, documentation to prove the volunteer hours done, a 500-word minimum essay on the prompt provided, and any supporting documents or letters of recommendations from teachers, mentors or advisers that you would like the selection committee to consider.

2. HPFY Make a Difference Scholarship

Background: The Health Products for You Make a Difference Scholarship aims to recognize and reward selfless individuals who care for those in need, give back to their communities, and do their part in making the world a better place for all.

Eligibility:
•Be a current high school senior or a college student. If the applicant is a high school student, then he or she should have a letter of acceptance from an accredited college, university, technical school, or vocational school for the fall of the academic year following high-school graduation.
• Enrollment status in school or college must be full-time.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Have a minimum of 100 documented hours volunteering in the local community providing care, comfort and service to those in need. These hours can be collected over a period of two years
