12th Graders: Become a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholar

Background: Coming this September, The Jackie Robinson Foundation will be opening applications for graduating minority high school seniors. Students will have the opportunity to participate in a multi-faceted experience designed to address the financial needs of students and guide them through the college-going process.

Eligibility:
• Be a graduating, minority high school senior
• Be a United States citizen
• Present evidence of financial need
• Demonstrate a record of academic excellence, leadership potential, and a dedication to community service
• Plan to attend an accredited 4-year college
• Have not accrued more than 25% of credits needed to graduate from college.

How to Apply: Students can apply here on September 1st. Applicants must complete an online application requiring one letter of recommendation and four essays along with:
• Demographics
• High school information including an unofficial high school transcript
• College plans
• Test scores (AP, IB, PSAT, ACT, or SAT) (optional)
• Activities and distinctions
• Household information
