Discover All That Bowdoin College Has to Offer: All Expenses Paid
The “Explore Bowdoin” program hosts prospective students for a week-long exploratory experience that will give students the opportunity to dorm with peers, attend classes, meet professors, eat in the dining halls, and explore downtown Brunswick, Maine, which boasts picturesque ocean views and the charm of New England. Students will also learn about the admissions process and everything it takes to become a student at Bowdoin College.
This program is free, and Bowdoin will handle all logistics and costs associated with the trip to their campus.
Eligibility:
High school seniors or other students (US citizens, permanent residents, and undocumented/DACA students living in the US), who intend on entering college in Fall 2024. Please note that preference will be given to applicants from lower-income backgrounds, students who will be the first in their families to attend college, and/or who come from diverse backgrounds or rural areas.
How to Apply:
Students can apply here by the August 9th deadline. To apply, students are asked to write a 250-word essay on the unique experience and perspectives that they will bring to Bowdoin.
