Philadelphia Writing Project: Philly Journalism Camp for Grades 9-12

Students in the Philadelphia Writing Project’s “Philly Journalism Camp” will explore journalism as a way of making an impact through writing. The camp is open to students entering grades 9-12.

This six-day hybrid program will include presentations by professional journalists and multiple opportunities for publication using text, photography, and short videos. The camp runs from July 26th through August 4th from 10am-2pm.

While there is a $150 fee to attend, scholarships are available for Philadelphia students. Students can register here.
