$5,000 Let Grow Think for Yourself 11th and 12th Grade Essay Contest Due 4/30

Background: Let Grow’s “Think for Yourself” essay contest awards one $5,000 grand prize scholarship and three $1,000 runner-up scholarships each year.

Eligibility: The contest is open to current high school 11th and 12th graders planning to enroll no later than Fall 2026 in a 2 or 4 year college or university, trade school, or vocational program.

How to Enter: Submit your 600-800 word essay here by the April 30th deadline. Judges will be looking for real-life stories of growth and change. Be sure to base your essay on one of the prompts provided and to focus on your personal experiences in relation to the prompt.
