$4,000 PWTC Scholarship For West Philadelphia 12th Graders Due 4/30

The scholarship awards young people who demonstrate commitment to their community, those who will stand up and fight for the causes they believe in and create true change in the world around them.

Awards: Three students will receive $4,000 each.

Eligibility:
• Be a current high school senior on track to graduate in June 2023
• Be continuing your education beginning Fall 2023 (college, university, trade school or other)
• Currently live OR go to school in the ‘Target Area’ (see map at the bottom of the page here)
• Have demonstrated a commitment to improving your community (through involvement in school, home, faith center, neighborhood groups, or as an individual)

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the April 30th deadline. Required materials include:
• Two 500-word essays
• Official transcript
• Acceptance letter from the college or trade school you plan to attend
• Two letters of recommendation (MUST be submitted directly by recommenders)
