Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine: Free Summer Program for Philly High Schoolers

Investigate, discover, and experiment at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) Opportunities Academy. Build your resume and college applications with clinical simulations and labs, networking opportunities, and learn alongside PCOM faculty and medical students.

The PCOM Opportunities Academy aims to offer traditionally underrepresented students the opportunity to accelerate their STEM+M skills, learn about the college and medical school admissions process, and explore careers in medicine.

The program will be held Monday, June 19 – Friday, June 23 and is open to Philadelphia high school students at no cost. You can find a more detailed schedule at the application link below.

Students can apply here. Students will be required to submit at least one teacher recommendation, but wait to request your recommendation until after you receive the recommendation form from PCOM. You will receive this form after you apply.

Space is limited and students are encouraged to apply by April.
