$1,000 NSHSS Scholarship for First-Generation College-Goers Due 3/24

Background: NSHSS will award $1,000 each to five first-generation college students for their academic and leadership initiatives. Such leadership and ambition take courage, and NSHSS wants to award students for their positive efforts.

Eligibility: This scholarship is open to first-generation college students of all levels. First-generation students are the first in their families to attend a college or university.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the March 24th deadline. Required materials include your resume and transcript, an educator recommendation, two short essays in response to the prompts provided, and photos/videos/media showing your leadership in action.
