FREE College Classes at CCP for 11th and 12th Graders: Apply by 12/22

Get a head start on your college education through Community College of Philadelphia’s Early Scholars program. You’ll earn credits for FREE that can be applied towards a college degree and you’ll learn in high school what it’s like to take a college course so you’ll be better prepared for college.

Details:
• You will not pay for tuition, books or fees, and you can choose from a variety of courses.
• Courses are offered online, and at CCP’s Main Campus and three Regional Centers.
• As an Early Scholar, you’ll also receive academic tutoring via CCP Learning Labs, access to CCP’s virtual library and databases, and academic and career guidance.
• Early Scholars is made possible through the Octavius Catto Scholarship, a partnership with the City of Philadelphia.

Eligibility:
• Be a Philadelphia resident
• Be an 11th or 12th grade high school student, or under the age of 21 and actively pursuing a GED or high school equivalency credential
• Complete an online application, FERPA form, and the Early Scholars Intent form
• Place at college level or one level below in English and Math

How to Apply: 15-week Spring 2023 classes begin January 17th. The final deadline to submit your completed application, FERPA and consent form, and placement testing is December 22nd. Head here for details on the application and placement testing process.
