TheDream.US Scholarship at Cabrini University for DACA or TPS Recipients

Overview: Cabrini University is the only school in Pennsylvania to partner with TheDream.US to provide scholarships for DREAMers and undocumented students in the Commonwealth.

Award: The award covers tuition and fees of up to $8,250 annually and $1,500 for books and supplies each year. The award is renewable each year if you meet continuing eligibility criteria.

Eligibility:
• reside in Pennsylvania
• are a Dreamer who came to the United States as a child and may be undocumented, a DACA or TPS recipient, or otherwise meet the DACA criteria, and came to the US before November 1, 2016 (before the age of 16)
• have graduated high school or will graduate with a high school or GED diploma (2.5+ GPA) or a community college associate degree (3.0+ GPA) by the end of the academic year
• have significant unmet financial need
• intend to enroll full-time in a Cabrini bachelor’s degree program in the fall, spring, or summer of the upcoming academic year

How to Apply: Students must apply to both TheDream.US and Cabrini (through the Common App or Cabrini’s application). You do not need to disclose your immigration or legal status to apply. TheDream.US application deadline is February 28th, and students must be accepted to Cabrini prior to May 8th in order to accept the scholarship if awarded.
