Calling Creatives: Apply to the $4,000 Sttark Scholarship Due 11/30

Background: Sttark understands the danger of false labels and believes the best ideas begin with a blank slate–no prejudices or preconceptions. For this reason, they are asking applicants to forget any labels related to academics or talent. For this scholarship, tap into your innate originality and creativity through writing and design.

Eligibility: This scholarship is open to a student who is an aspiring designer, manufacturer, engineer, artist, architect, or any other type of innovator. Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduate or graduate students.

How to Apply: Students can apply here by the November 30th deadline. Required materials are listed below. Don’t forget to review the “Application Details” section at the link above for important details about formatting and submitting your application materials.

● A short bio of no more than 250-words that includes your intended field of study, your current grade or degree level, and your future goals
● Proof of college enrollment (or high school transcript, if a high school senior)
● Evidence of U.S. citizenship (valid address)
● A 1000-word creative essay showing how you relate to the prompt provided and why it matters
● A label (that you design) related to your essay that belongs on a product but not a person
