$2,000 SchoolHouse Connection Scholarship for 12th Graders Who’ve Experienced Homelessness Due 10/15
Background: SchoolHouse Connection is a national non-profit organization working to overcome homelessness through education. Recipients will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship and one-on-one coaching from SchoolHouse Connection Staff who will provide you with academic, personal, and professional support throughout the time you are in college and as you enter the workforce.
Eligibility:
• Live in the United States (undocumented applicants are eligible) and were born on or after October 15, 2002
• Will begin a four year college, community college, or trade school for the first time in 2023 (not including dual-enrollment courses)
• Have experienced homelessness in the last six years
How to Apply: Students can apply here by the October 15th deadline. Required materials include your high school transcript, an essay responding to the prompts provided, and a letter of recommendation.
